Sandringham Football Club is deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Albert Hubbard, last week.
Albert was a Life Member of the Club, and wrote a historical book on the Club 'The Zebra Story' after the 1985 premiership. Albert, was also club historian for a number of years.
Many people around Sandringham and the football community knew Albert, and he was always sure to attend Sandringham v Port Melbourne match's, with a life long mate of his.
In remembrance of Albert, the boys wore black armbands as they took on Port Melbourne at home, this past weekend.
We pass on our support and condolences to the family of Albert during this tough time.
