Frost appointed VFLW Senior Coach
28/10/2025
The Sandringham Football Club is pleased to announce Jack Frost as our 2026 VFLW Senior Coach.
Frost is currently a development coach with St Kilda AFLW, a role that he will continue to hold alongside his VFLW Senior Coach role.
Sandringham FC CEO Mark Wheeler spoke of the appointment,
"We are incredibly excited to welcome Frosty as our 2026 VFLW Senior Coach."
"We take pride in our VFLW program and have established solid foundations over the past few seasons through our partnership with St Kilda AFLW."
"We are looking forward to building on from last season, where we played finals and had three players promoted to AFLW lists," added Wheeler.
Frost has a long career as a player, first drafted to Collingwood AFL from Williamstown VFL at the end of 2012. He made his debut for Collingwood in Round 1, 2013 and played 54 games for the club before being traded to Brisbane at the end of the 2016 season. Frost played two games for Brisbane before suffering a concussion and at the end of the 2018 season, concussion symptoms forced him to retire.
Since then, Frost joined the football department at Brisbane, working with their first-year players and developing their younger talent, before coaching Hawthorn's AFL Wheelchair and AFL Blind teams.
Frost most recently joined St Kilda AFLW as a development coach this season.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Sandringham as VFLW Senior Coach,” Frost said.
“It’s clear the program has already built a strong foundation, with a great culture and people.”
“There’s so much talent and potential within this group, and I can’t wait to get stuck in, build on the momentum of this season, and see what we can achieve together in 2026 and beyond.”
