Zebs secure Jack Ferraro in 2026

The Sandringham Football Club is excited to announce Jack Ferraro has signed for the 2026 VFL season.

Ferraro joins the Zebs in 2026 following a stint with the Casey Demons during the 2025 VFL season, where he gained valuable experience at VFL level against seasoned opposition.

Originally from St Bedes/Mentone in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA), Ferraro made a name for himself as a composed and highly skilled footballer with a strong work ethic. He later took his game to another level with Dingley Football Club in the Southern Football Netball League (SFNL), where he was a dominant force around the contest, making a Division 1 Grand Final appearance in the process.

Ferraro is a dynamic midfielder-forward with a footy IQ well beyond his years. Clean and decisive at the contest, he thrives in tight spaces, wins his own ball and uses it with purpose. Strong over the footy and blessed with safe, reliable hands, he can impact both at stoppage and inside 50, making him a constant threat around the ground.

Now bringing that blend of experience, toughness and polish to the Zebs, Ferraro shapes as an exciting addition with both proven credentials and plenty of upside.

Reflecting on his signing, Ferraro said,

Jack has already impressed us this pre-season and we can’t see what he can do when the season kicks off!
