Willis Reidy signs on for 2026

Sandringham Football Club is pleased to announce the signing of Willis Reidy for the 2026 VFL season.

A regular feature for Sandringham Dragons last season, while also playing senior football at Bentleigh Football Netball Club, Reidy is a livewire forward that needs limited opportunity to stamp his authority on a contest.

Crafty and eye-wateringly quick, the 176cm dynamo booted 19 goals in 15 Talent League games last year, while averaging 13.5 disposals and applying extreme defensive pressure too, averaging 2.2 tackles.

His ability to influence a game off restricted possessions is perhaps best exemplified by his performance in the Dragons’ Grand Final loss to Eastern Ranges last year, where he was named in best after kicking a game-high four goals from nine disposals, taking over the third term to boot three of those majors to hand his side the lead at three-quarter time.

Reidy spoke on his signing,

“I'm super keen to be a part of this club and looking forward to what we can produce.”
