Bode Stevens becomes a Zeb

The Sandringham Football Club is excited to announce the signing of Bode Stevens for the 2026 VFL season.

Stevens arrives at the Zebras with plenty of experience, having been part of North Melbourne’s VFL program since 2022. Across four seasons, he played 31 games at VFL level, including three appearances in 2025, developing into a tough and reliable midfield presence.

At local level, Stevens starred for Strathfieldsaye in the Bendigo Football Netball League. He played 15 games in 2025 and was named among the best players in 12 of them, establishing himself as one of the club’s most consistent midfielders. His performances were further recognised with selection in the Bendigo Football League’s 41-man squad for their interleague clash against the VAFA.

A product of the Bendigo Pioneers program in the Coates Talent League from 2021 to 2022, Stevens is a big-bodied midfielder who thrives in contested situations. Strong and competitive, he brings a team-first approach to the Zebs' midfield group.

Speaking on the move, Stevens said,

“I’m very excited to join the Zebs. I can’t wait to begin a new journey with the club and get out there with the boys.”
