Nathan Philactides joins the Zebs

The Sandringham Football Club is excited to welcome Nathan Philactides to the Zebras for the 2026 season!

Joining Sandringham from the Box Hill Hawks, Philactides brings with him valuable VFL experience, having played 12 games across the 2024 and 2025 seasons, including five this year, where he averaged 14 disposals and four marks. Prior to that, he spent time with Richmond’s VFL side in 2023 and co-captained the Oakleigh Chargers in the Coates Talent League that same year.

An explosive half-back with exceptional speed and agility, Philactides thrives on taking the game on. Known for his rebounding run, intercepting ability, and courage in the air, he provides plenty of drive and energy off the backline.

Philactides said,

“I’m very excited to have the opportunity to play at Sandy. I can’t wait to get stuck in with all the boys!”

We’re thrilled to have Nathan in the yellow, black, and blue for 2026!
