Morrish Medal winner becomes a Zeb

The Sandringham Football Club is excited to announce the signing of 2025 Coates Talent League Best & Fairest (Morrish Medal) winner Brodie Atkins. 

Atkins dominated the midfield for Gippsland Power, averaging 24 disposals, seven tackles and five inside-50s per game, and featuring in the umpires’ votes in seven of his 13 matches, which included receiving three votes on six occasions.

Atkins also impressed when he represented Victoria Country at this year’s Marsh AFL National Championships and was named in the 2025 Rookie Me Central's Coates Talent League Team of the Year. 

He is known for his stoppage work, quick hands and vision in a contest and has been described as an "aggressive tackler".

Atkins spoke of his move to the Zebs, 

"I’m excited to start a new chapter at Sandy, and I can’t wait to get to work with everyone!"

We cannot wait to see the talent and intensity Brodie will bring to the Zebs in 2026!
