Lily Skinner locked in for 2026!

The Sandringham Football Club is pleased to announce that Lily Skinner has re-signed for the 2026 season.

Skinner joined the Zebs from the Sandringham Dragons ahead of the 2025 VFLW season and made an impact from the get-go with 15 disposals and four tackles in her Round 1 debut. Other standout games for Skinner came in Round 9 against the Western Bulldogs and Round 13 against Essendon, finishing with 15 touches in each game, and Round 7 v Collingwood where she led our tackle count with seven for the day. 

Skinner was rewarded for her impressive debut season, taking home the 2025 VFLW Best First Year Player award at the 2025 Neil Bencraft Best & Fairest.

Skinner spoke of re-committing to the Zebs,

"I'm super excited to be back at Sandy Zebs in 2026 and playing with this team. I really enjoyed and learnt so much here in my first season of VFLW and can’t wait for the coming season!"

We're so excited to have Lily on board again for season 2026 and can't wait to see her continue to impress in the yellow, black and blue!
