Jhett Haeata joins the Zebs

The Sandringham Football Club is thrilled to announce the signing of Jhett Haeata for the 2026 season!

Haeata joins the Zebras after spending three years with the Sandringham Dragons, where he played a key role in their 2024 premiership side. In 2025, he took the next step in his football journey, signing with Richmond’s VFL program and making his debut in Round One against Coburg, going on to play two games for the Tigers.

A powerful and speedy midfielder, Haeata is known for his agility, explosive pace, and ability to break lines. Comfortable through the midfield, wing, and off half-back, he adds versatility and excitement to the Zebs' 2026 lineup.

Speaking about the move, Haeata said,

“I'm stoked to be on board and be part of this exciting chapter with the club. I can’t wait to link up with some old teammates, and meet all my new teammates and coaches.”
