Trent Marotta signs on for 2026

The Sandringham Football Club is pleased to welcome Trent Marotta to the Zebs for 2026.

A product of the Eastern Ranges, Marotta has previous VFL experience with the Frankston Dolphins and, most recently, has been playing with the South Croydon Football Club in the Eastern Football Netball League Premier Division. 

Standing at 197cm, the key forward brings string mobility and fantastic work rate, making him an exciting addition to the Zebs' forward line. His ability to present up the ground and apply pressure inside 50 adds another dimension to the Zebs' attacking options. 

During his time with Frankston in the VFL, Marotta kicked seven goals across the past couple of seasons. One of his standout performances came against the Northern Bullants in 2023, where he finished with 12 disposals and two goals, highlighting his capability to contribute both to the scoreboard and across the ground. 

Marotta reflects on his signing,
