Tayla Kearns re-signs for 2026 season

The Sandringham Football Club is pleased to confirm that Tayla Kearns has re-signed for the 2026 VFLW season.

Kearns joined the Sandringham Football Club in 2021, returning for her sixth consecutive season this year. Her 2024 season, being co-captain alongside Ali Hynes, was cut short due to injury. She still continued to demonstrate leadership on and off the field and came back into the 2025 stronger and continued her strong team atmosphere as part of the leadership group. 

Kearns continues to bring her A game with standout performances, strong versatility, and being a dominating force in the forward line. She had a terrific game in Round 9 last year against the Western Bulldogs, finishing with 16 disposals, three tackles and a goal, showing her dominating effort throughout the game. 

Speaking on her signing, Kearns said,

"I’m excited to be a part of the incredible club for another year! Can't wait to see what we'll achieve together."

We are looking forward to having Tay back for the 2026 campaign!
