Kynan Brown signs with the Zebs
02/12/2025
The Sandringham Football Club is thrilled to announce the signing of Kynan Brown for the 2026 season.
Selected by Melbourne in the 2023 Rookie Draft as a father-son pick, Brown made his AFL debut in Round 15, 2024 against North Melbourne, producing a game-saving tackle in the final seconds to secure a three point win - a moment that highlighted his composure and willingness to step up under pressure.
In 2025, Brown spent the full season playing VFL with the Casey Demons, where he cemented himself as one of their most reliable and hard-working midfielders. He played 20 games, averaging 17.9 disposals, 4.9 tackles and recorded 10 games with five or more tackles, showcasing the work rate and defensive intensity he brings to every contest. His standout performance came in Round 7 against reigning Premiers Footscray, gathering 25 disposals and 10 tackles in a dominant display.
Renowned for his speed, endurance, and contested effort, Brown’s ability to break from stoppage, apply pressure, and cover the ground makes him an exciting addition to the Zebs' midfield group.
"I'm excited to be part of a new chapter at the Club and keen to see what we can achieve!" said Brown.
We’re excited to welcome Kynan to the Zebs as he begins a new chapter at Sandringham!
