Kyle Cooper signs on for 2026

The Sandringham Football Club is pleased to confirm that Kyle Cooper has signed with the Zebs for the 2026 VFL season.

A three-time Best and Fairest winner, League MVP and two-time premiership player, Cooper arrives at the Zebs with an impressive football resume and a reputation as a consistent ball-winner.

The silky, goal-kicking midfielder averaged 30 disposals per game in 2025, leading the competition for contested possessions while finishing runner-up in East Brighton’s Best and Fairest. 

Most recently, Cooper featured in the 2025–26 NTFL season with Banks, kicking 12 goals in six Premier League Reserves matches and continuing to showcase his ability to impact both inside and outside the contest.

With his run and carry, clean hands and strong stoppage craft, Cooper adds class, competitiveness and versatility to Sandy’s midfield group.

Cooper spoke on his signing,
