Jordan Membrey locked in for another year

The Sandringham Football Club is pleased to confirm that Jordan Membrey has re-signed for the 2026 VFLW season.

Membrey is a proven and versatile contributor who brings experience, composure and creativity to the forward half. Her leadership and on-field smarts will continue to be a valuable asset as the group builds toward the upcoming season.

Membrey began her AFLW career in 2017 after being signed by Brisbane as a free agent, later taking the field for Collingwood, quickly becoming their leading goal scorer for the 2020 season, before most recently suiting up for the Gold Coast SUNS.

A smart and creative small forward, Membrey is renowned for her football IQ and ability to find the scoreboard. Across eight AFLW seasons, she featured in 39 matches and booted 19 goals, primarily playing in the forward line while also contributing through the midfield when required.

Reflecting on her signing, Membrey said,

“I’m excited for 2026 — the year of the horse, it’s pretty close to a zebra. Let’s go Zebsssss!”

We are excited to have Jordan kit up again for the Zebs this season!
