Isobel Hartog signs on for 2026!
24/12/2025
The Sandringham Football Club is pleased to confirm that Isobel Hartog has re-signed for the 2026 VFLW season.
Hartog joined the Zebras in 2025 after previously spending two seasons with Port Melbourne, and quickly became a reliable and versatile contributor in their first year at the club. They made their Sandringham debut in Round 2 and went on to play 14 games across the season.
Primarily featuring through the midfield while also providing support in defence, Hartog averaged 8.5 disposals and 2.8 tackles per game. Their ability to transition the ball, apply consistent pressure and maintain a strong work rate made them a dependable option across multiple roles.
Before arriving at Sandringham, Hartog gained valuable experience across a variety of football environments. They spent time playing in the TIO Northern Territory Football League with Southern Districts Women over the summer and previously competed in the Queensland Australian Women’s Football League before relocating to Melbourne.
Speaking on their signing, Hartog said,
"I'm really excited to build on what we started this year and get stuck in!"
Their adaptability, reliability and commitment to team roles have seen Hartog become a valued part of the Zebras’ VFLW program, and we’re excited to see them continue to grow in the yellow, black and blue in 2026.
