27/02/2026
The Sandringham Football Club is pleased to announce a Silver Major Partnership with Foundry Athletic.
The partnership will see Foundry Athletic recognised as a Silver Major Partner of the Sandringham Zebras across all major assets in 2026. Foundry Athletic will takeover all medical and high-performance requirements for the VFL program and all Sandringham FC VFL and VFLW players will also gain access year-round to the state-of-the-art high performance centre, including gym and recovery zone access.
Foundry Athletic first partnered with the Zebs in 2025 at an Associate level and have increased their sponsorship as the VFL program goes standalone in 2026.
Replicating the high level of care and attention to detail normally reserved for professional athletes, Foundry Athletic brings elite sport systems and protocols to the aspirational, sub elite and community level sports lover. Offering a variety of services including a sports medicine clinic housing physiotherapy, sports massage, sports dietetics, psychology and exercise physiology, Rehabilitation and Athlete Development, along with an all-encompassing Recovery Zone (including hot/cold pools, infrared saunas and Compression Lounge), their state-of-the-art facility has everything you need to be your best, all under the one roof. From aspirational teenagers to older adults simply wanting to be as healthy as they can be, there is something for everyone at Foundry Athletic.
General Manager of Foundry Athletic, Peter O’Gorman, is passionate about helping the community be the best version of themselves and importantly supporting the athletes at Sandringham Football Club. O’Gorman spoke of the partnership extension with excitement.
"We are passionate about supporting the local community that supports us. We want to provide a space that encourages and assists people to be the best version of themselves and achieve their own version of success. We aim to provide an elite level of medical care, high performance and wellness that transforms our athletes into something stronger, more purposeful and inherently more valuable, something that was once the exclusive privilege of professional athletes.”
Sandringham FC CEO, Mark Wheeler spoke of the importance of the partnership.
“We are excited and grateful to have Foundry Athletic on board as a Silver Major Partner in 2026. We believe this partnership will significantly benefit both our VFL and VFLW programs, as it did in 2025, by providing all our players with access to a state-of-the-art high-performance and medical facility. Building on this in 2026, our VFL program will also have all medical services managed by the medical and high-performance staff at Foundry Athletic, including Tom ‘Plucka’ Laumets who has been an integral part of our high-performance program for over five years. It is the partnerships we form with local businesses and community members that keeps our club going and we look forward to continuing our partnership with Foundry Athletic for many years to come!”
