Hamish Murphy signs with the Zebs

The Sandringham Football Club is pleased to announce that Hamish Murphy has signed ahead of the 2026 VFL season. 

Murphy came up through the Williamstown Juniors and Western Jets pathways and has gained VFL experience across two clubs - Williamstown and North Melbourne. In 2025, he played one game at Williamstown and 16 games with North Heidelberg in the Northern Football Netball League Division 1 and previously played 24 games at North Melbourne.

Outside of playing footy, Murphy has a passion for coaching and education.

Murphy shared his excitement at joining the Zebras, 

"I’m absolutely stoked to join the Zebs. The Club is starting a new chapter in its history, and I’m really excited about the direction this group is heading. I’m eager to play my part in pushing this team toward the ultimate success we’re aiming for as a club."
