Galaminda-Gellar cementing comeback in 2026
17/02/2026
The Sandringham Football Club is pleased to confirm that Kera Galaminda-Gellar has signed for the 2026 VFLW season.
Galaminda-Gellar ’s 2024 season was cut short after she ruptured her anterior cruciate ligament (ACL), sidelining her for an extended period of time. Now, after putting in the hard work behind the scenes and emerging stronger both physically and mentally, she’s ready to pull the kit back on and charge out onto the field in the Zebra colours, eager to make her mark in the side.
A product of St Kilda City Junior Football Club, Galaminda-Gellar’s football journey has been built on strong foundations and a deep understanding of the game. Her transition to VFLW level has been seamless, a testament to her skill, work rate and football IQ.
The dynamic small forward has continued her development with the Sandringham Dragons in the Coates Talent League, where she has showcased her speed, pressure and scoreboard impact against some of the competition’s top emerging talent.
Reflecting on her signing, Galaminda-Gellar said,
"After having to recover from an ACL injury for over 14 months, I’m super excited to be back on the track with the Sandringham Zebras in 2026."
We’re all excited to see Kera dominate out on the field!
