Erin Woodford re-signs for 2026

The Sandringham Football Club is pleased to announce that Erin Woodford has re-signed for the 2026 VFLW season.

Woodford started her football career at Oakleigh Chargers in the Coates Talent League, and was part of the AFLW U18 Championships in the Vic Metro Girls Team in 2022. She played for Collingwood and Box Hill in the VFLW before coming to the Zebs last year. 

Woodford is a versatile, medium-sized defender who is not afraid of putting her body on the line when going for a contest. She is known for her insane running ability and is a brilliant interceptor, exceptional at stopping the opposition's attack. 

Woodford spoke on her signing,

"I'm keen to get back out there with this great group of players, and continue to grow both indiviudally and as a team!"

We look forward to seeing what Erin can add to the Zebs in 2026!
