Coghlan follows in father's footsteps

The Sandringham Football Club is excited to announce the signing of Liam Coghlan, son of Sandringham FC Premiership Player and member of our Hall of Fame, Adam Coghlan. 

Coghlan joins the Zebs from the Northern Bullants, where he played 16 VFL games in 2025 and finished seventh in their Best & Fairest. Prior to his time at the Bullants, he spent a year at Port Melbourne in 2024, playing nine games, and two years at Box Hill from 2022-23, where he played a total of 16 games. 

Known for his long-kicking ability, Coghlan has also represented Rowville Seniors in the Eastern Football Netball League Premier Men's competition for the past two seasons. 

Coghlan shared his excitement at joining the Zebras, 

"“I'm so keen to play for a club with family history and good people. I'm eager to see what this club can achieve!”"

We look forward to seeing Liam in the yellow, black and blue in 2026!
