Ben Stephenson re-signs for 2026

The Sandringham Football Club is excited to confirm that Ben Stephenson has re-signed for season 2026!

In his first year with the Zebs, Stephenson quickly made his mark as a hard-working, team-first player who never shied away from the contest. His courage and determination were further recognised at the 2025 Neil Bencraft Best and Fairest, where he was awarded the Ed Hattam Memorial Trophy for the Most Courageous Player. 

Although his debut season was interrupted by injury, Stephenson’s standout performance came in round seven against Carlton, where he had 17 disposals and four tackles, displaying the hard-running, competitive edge he brings on the wing and through the midfield.

Reflecting on his return for a second season, Stephenson said, 

“I’m super excited for my second year at this great club and I can’t wait to be part of a hungry, exciting team. Bring it on!”

The Zebras can’t wait to see Ben back in action in 2026 wearing the yellow, black, and blue!
