Ari Clarke re-signs for 2026

The Sandringham Football Club is pleased to confirm that Arianna Clarke has re-signed for the 2026 VFLW season. 

Clarke joined the Zebras ahead of the 2025 VFLW season after after relocating to Victoria to continue pursuing her football career, bringing valuable AFLW experience to the program following her time with Brisbane and St Kilda. A composed and reliable defender, her ability to read the play, compete strongly and provide leadership across the backline has made her an important player within the side. 

During the 2025 season, Clarke returned to AFLW level with St Kilda, managing seven games and playing a key role in supporting the squad through to its Finals campaign. Her professionalism and resilience have continued to shine at VFLW level, where her experience and team-first attitude add important structure and guidance to the Zebras’ defence. 

Reflecting on her signing, Clarke said, 

“This club and my girls mean a lot to me. Being part of this group helped me rediscover my passion for the game again, and I am excited for what we can build together in 2026. We’ll let our work do the talking and have a real hot crack. We owe it to everyone who’s played in the jersey before us, and everyone that will come after us.”
