Stage 1 VFL Preseason – Player Applications Open

The Sandringham Football Club is now accepting applications for Stage 1 of our 2026 VFL Preseason Program.
This is an opportunity for aspiring players to be considered for selection into our preseason squad. Applicants will be assessed against the following criteria, with invitations extended to those who best meet the requirements.
- Previous VFL experience (preseason, train on and/or games in last 2 seasons)
- Currently playing Senior Football, ideally in Premier A/B, or equivalent top-tier local competition
- Players from lower divisions may be considered, with exceptional performance and strong recommendations
- Minimum of 10 senior games played in the current or most recent season
- Interleague representation at U19 or Senior level
Applications close Tuesday 16th September. Only successful applicants will be contacted regarding the next stage of the process.
